Solar Guest Posts

I love the opportunity to publish details of my solar installation and express my opinions on news items relating to solar power.

Most of all, I like the feedback from you based on my experiences. It's the cyber equivalent of gossiping at the coffee machine about last nights TV or what happened yesterday. I'd like to hear more of your thoughts, experiences or worries about solar power installations.

I've added this "Guest Post" page to encourage contributions from you. Would you like the opportunity to publish your thoughts or comments on your installation? If you haven't yet taken the plunge, would you like to question those who have?   This page is your opportunity....

It doesn't need to be earth shattering. What it does need to be is  original material and of potential interest to others.
What's gone well? What would you do differently if you had the opportunity? What advice can you give others?

I'm not intending to censor content or opinions expressed. I will however reject any material  that is offensive, plagiarised or containing material intended for commercial gain. Please ensure you supply contact details (which will only be published with your permission).

Email your contribution (text, pictures, spreadsheets, etc.) to

I look forward to hearing from you.

  1. Hi - my installation is only three weeks old so early days ... It's 3.92 kWh from 16 panels on a south facing roof in Greater Manchester. Output about 90kWh for last 2 weeks of October. If I had the chance again I would go for Sanyo panels as reports suggest they have a great output, although the south coast of England is clearly more of a light trap than here in the NW region.
